Hi Friends. I’m Tracie. I’m a wife, mom, and grandma. My husband and I enjoy a simple life on a small scale north Texas homestead. We keep bees that give us honey and pollinate our plants. Chickens give us eggs, fertilizer and entertainment. We grow some of our own fruits, vegetables and fresh herbs. We grow some medicinal plants for our home apothecary and we grow lavender because, well, it’s lavender!

Every morning, my sweet husband brings me a fresh cup of coffee and delivers it to me with an equally fresh coffee song. Sometimes, there’s even a dance. What a fun way to start my day!

Note: He won’t let me post this unless I add that he runs the tractor, drives the truck and fixes things!

We live with 2 standard poodles and a little chihuahua ~ aka 2 poos and a little sh!t.
